Conversation Training
Coffee & Conversation in Santa Teresa
The First Italian City in Brazil
Santa Teresa, Espírito Santo, Brazil
Teachers Ceni and Cida led a memorable Outdoor Conversation Training session with Gabe, a programmer; Mat, an attorney; and Bárbara, an engineer, in Santa Teresa—the first Italian city in Brazil.
Surrounded by the charm and cultural richness of this historic destination, the group explored several of its well-known tourist spots. The setting provided an ideal environment for natural and engaging conversations in English, allowing each participant to express ideas, share experiences, and build confidence in real-life situations.

One of the highlights of the day was an insightful and engaging moment led by Bárbara, who shared her professional knowledge about coffee selection and the differences involving instant coffee. Given her expertise in the field, her explanation added a unique and enriching dimension to the experience, transforming the session into a true exchange of knowledge.
The group also visited the Museu de Biologia Prof. Mello Leitão, an open-air museum known for its remarkable biodiversity and often referred to as the “Land of Hummingbirds.” This visit further deepened the cultural and educational value of the day, offering new topics for discussion and reflection in English.

Restaurante Mazzolin Di Fiori Italian Cuisine, where we gathered around the table to enjoy authentic Italian dishes. In a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the conversation continued naturally in English, turning the meal into an extension of the learning process.
This session beautifully combined language, culture, and real-world knowledge—reinforcing the idea that learning English can and should go far beyond the classroom.
