This morning was another one of our outdoor conversation-training sessions with Malu (Maria Luísa).
She started her English journey in January, and today, already in her second level, she is becoming a confident English speaker—and I truly believe she will go much further.
As a teacher, moments like this remind me why I love what I do. Teaching a language is not simply about books, grammar, vocabulary, and exercises. It is about giving students opportunities to use the language in real life, to step outside their comfort zone, to discover that they can communicate, and to build the confidence to keep going.
I don't want my students merely to study English. I want them to live it, use it, and eventually make it part of who they are.
This isn't simply what I believe about teaching. This is who I am as a teacher. ❤️
